Black Desert Node War Scoreboard OCR and Stats
Take a screenshot of the node war scoreboard, post it, and Athena reads every player's row into a stats table. No packet sniffer, no installer, nothing running while you play.
How scoreboard OCR works
- After the war, screenshot the scoreboard. A war is often several screenshots and sometimes both alliance guilds' boards; upload up to 10 at once.
- Upload them on the website, or post them in your score channel on Discord (set with
/score set-channel) or with.score. - Athena reads the picture with image recognition, merges the screenshots into one row per player, and takes the war date and result from the header when it is visible.
- You review the table and can fix any name the reader got wrong.
What you get
- Per-player war stats, war by war, and trends over time.
- War history with results and dates.
- Alliance views when both guilds' boards are uploaded.
- Adding screenshots to a war that is already saved, instead of overwriting it.
Why use OCR instead of a logger
A network logger records more detail, including where each kill happened, but it has to be installed and running on the playing PC and some players are not comfortable with it. Scoreboard OCR needs only a screenshot, so everyone can take part and there is nothing to install. Many guilds use both: screenshots for the scoreboard stats, Seer for the kill map.
Accuracy
Image reading is not perfect, particularly on cropped or very compressed screenshots. Use the full scoreboard at normal resolution and check the table before you rely on it. A saved war can be corrected afterwards.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a packet sniffer to get node war stats?
No. Athena reads the scoreboard screenshots you upload or post in Discord, so no logger or packet capture tool is needed.
How many screenshots can I upload for one war?
Up to 10 at once. Athena merges them into one row per player and can add more screenshots to a war that is already saved.
How accurate is the scoreboard reading?
Usually good on full-resolution screenshots, but not perfect on cropped or heavily compressed ones. Check the table and correct names before relying on it.
Can I post screenshots in Discord instead of the website?
Yes. Set a score channel with /score set-channel, or post images with .score. Only officers and managers are read.
